In football, as in life, victories are never guaranteed, defeats do not mark the end of the road, and the true essence of sport does not lie in trophies but in the emotions shared together. This journey is a tribute to passion, hard work, and the joy of playing outdoors, away from electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets, and TVs, immersed in the beauty of human connection.

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
The Provincial Under-15 Championship (Perugia - Group B) kicked off on October 12, 2024, with Matchday 1, while today we are at Matchday 17.

However, the adventure of this young team began earlier when five new players from the 2011 class joined a squad of twenty boys born in 2010, along with the arrival of a new head coach, Gianluca, and a new assistant coach, Diego.

Several months before the championship started, there was intense athletic and technical preparation, but just as importantly, a strong effort was made to build relationships and team spirit among the twenty players, the new coaches, and the newcomers from the 2011 class.

Beyond pre-season training, the coaches organized off-field activities such as dinners, walks, and breakfast outings. This was an important method, among many, to build a close-knit team, create new friendships, and strengthen existing ones. Gianluca and Diego’s goal was, and still is, to foster teamwork, collaboration, mutual support, and above all, a love for the game.

A DREAM START
The first match of the championship ended with a hard-fought but favorable result. After that, we remained unbeaten through Matchdays 2, 3, 4, a rest on Matchday 5, and then Matchdays 6, 7, and 8.

On Matchday 9, a draw broke our record of eight consecutive victories. This result left the players disappointed as they had to come to terms with an important lesson: winning is never guaranteed, and a journey can change at any moment.

EVERYTHING CHANGES
The team continued its training, which included not just physical preparation but also moments of discussion, relaxation, and reflection, in order to face the challenge of Matchday 10, an away game. The result was tough: a 3-0 defeat.

We were no longer at the top of the standings. The players were deeply disappointed, and their certainty of being the strongest team was shaken. But the coaches never lost their enthusiasm. Instead, they said:

"Did you really think you would win them all? This defeat will help us improve our weaknesses, bring us closer together, and make us stronger as we fight to win again."

BACK TO DREAMING
Matchday 11 ended with a victory, Matchday 12 with a draw, and Matchdays 13, 14, and 15 saw three consecutive wins. After a rest on Matchday 16, today, on Matchday 17, we secured another victory, strengthening our position as second in the standings, just one point behind the leaders.

The new motto? Win them all! It won’t be easy, and nothing is guaranteed, but that’s the goal, the desire, and the dream.

BEYOND THE SCOREBOARD
Beyond the challenges on the field, this adventure has been a journey through the hidden treasures of Umbria, from Passignano sul Trasimeno to Bettona and Fabro. Every away match has been an opportunity to discover new places, build friendships, and experience sport as a true celebration.

It would be amazing if you decided to come and watch a game, to spend 70 minutes with the players and their families.

Questo racconto nasce con un duplice scopo: celebrare la bellezza del calcio e far vivere, attraverso lo sport, l’importanza di valori fondamentali come l’unione, l’amicizia, il rispetto e la crescita personale. Ma non solo: questa avventura ci porta a scoprire i borghi e le città incantevoli dell’Umbria, tra partite combattute, trasferte affascinanti e momenti indimenticabili dentro e fuori dal campo.

Nel calcio, come nella vita, le vittorie non sono mai scontate, le sconfitte non segnano la fine di un cammino, e la vera essenza dello sport non risiede nei trofei, ma nelle emozioni vissute insieme. Questo viaggio è un inno alla passione, al sudore e alla gioia di giocare all’aria aperta, lontani dai dispositivi elettronici come cellulari, tablet, tv e immersi nella bellezza della condivisione... L'AVVENTURA HA INIZIO
Il Campionato Giovanissimi Provinciali Under 15 (Perugia - Girone B) ha avuto inizio il 12 ottobre 2024, giornata 1, mentre oggi siamo alla giornata 17.
Ma l'avventura di questa giovane squadra è iniziata prima, quando, con l'ingresso nella rosa di 20 ragazzi del 2010 si sono uniti 5 nuovi giocatore anno 2011 e l'arrivo di un nuovo Mister, Gianluca, ed un nuovo Mister in seconda, Diego.
Diversi mesi prima dell'inizio del campionato c'è stato un grande lavoro di preparazione atletica e tecnica ma anche un importante lavoro di conoscenza ed affiatamento tra i 20 ragazzi ed i nuovi Mister arrivati nonché i nuovi ragazzi dell'anno 2011 affinché fossero tutti integrati bene sia nel campo che fuori dal campo. I Mister, oltre agli allenamenti precampionato, organizzavano uscite fuori dal campo da calcio come cene, passeggiate e prime colazioni. Questo è un importantissimo metodo, tra i tanti, per formare una squadra unita, creare amicizie nuove e rafforzare quelle già esistenti. L'obiettivo di Gianluca e Diego era ed è di creare e rafforzare l'affiatamento, la collaborazione, il sostegno reciproco con tanta voglia di divertirsi.

UN INIZIO DA SOGNO
La 1° giornata del campionato abbiamo iniziato con un risultato favorevole ma sofferto dopo di che la 2°, 3°, 4°, 5° di riposo, 6°, 7°, 8° giornata siamo rimasti imbattuti. Con la 9° giornata il risultato si ferma ad un pareggio infrangendo un importante record di 8 vittorie consecutive. Questo risultato portò delusione nei ragazzi i quali dovettero fare i conti con l'imprevisto, con il vincere sempre non è la certezza ma è un momento che può cambiare in qualsiasi istante durante un cammino.

TUTTO CAMBIA
La preparazione proseguì, sempre condito con momenti di dialogo, di relax e di confronto, per affrontare la partita della 10° giornata fuori casa. Il risultato fu pesante, tre gol a zero. Non eravamo più i primi in classifica, i ragazzi sono rimasti profondamente delusi, la certezza di essere i più forti ha subito un duro colpo ma i Mister non hanno mai abbandonato l'entusiasmo, anzi hanno detto "cosa pensavate di vincerle tutte? Questa sconfitta ci aiuterà a migliorare i nostri difetti, ci unirà ancora di più, ci darà maggiore forza per ritrovare la vittoria".

SI RIPRENDE A SOGNARE
L'11° giornata si risolve con una vittoria mentre la 12° con un pareggio, la 13°, 14° e 15° con tre vittorie consecutive e la 16° giornata di riposo. Arriviamo alla 17° giornata, oggi, anch'essa con una vittoria che consolida la seconda posizione ed ad un punto dalla 1° in classifica. La parola d'ordine è vincerle tutte, non sarà facile, non sarà scontato ma questo è l'obiettivo, il desiderio, il sogno.

OLTRE IL RISULTATO
Oltre alle sfide sul campo, questa avventura è stata un viaggio tra i tesori nascosti dell’Umbria: da Passignano sul Trasimeno a Bettona e Fabro. Ogni trasferta è stata un’occasione per scoprire nuove realtà, per stringere amicizie, per vivere lo sport come una festa.

Sarebbe bellissimo se decidessi di venire a vederli giocare per trascorrere 70 minuti con loro e con i genitori.
